Andrew graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy with his BS in Marine Engineering (Systems) in 1991 and received his MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver in December 2000.
Andrew has over twenty (20) years of experience in the operation, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of mechanical and electrical equipment dealing with marine steam and diesel power, industrial manufacturing facilities and equipment, and utility substations through 230kV.
Andrew is also a Project Manager supervising the design, scheduling, and commissioning of utility substations and industrial power distribution systems for various clients. Design experience includes conceptual and detailed electrical design including developing and implementing protective relay settings for Transmission and Distribution level schemes.
His experience also includes numerous power system studies, electrical protection studies, outage investigations, developing protective relay settings and field commissioning and testing relays in both industrial and utility substations.
