NEI was hired as the Consulting Engineer to design a new substation to serve the City of Logan, Utah. 

The complete design consisted of a two breaker "in-and-out" scheme being fed by two, 46 kV feeders and feeding one, 20/26.67/33.33 MVA, 46 kV - 12.47 kV transformer, associated buswork, circuit switcher, breakers, relays, switches and switchgear.

NEI is responsible for producing the complete engineering design documents; writing construction specifications; and assisting the City Utility with bid and submittal evaluations.  NEI also performed relay settings and protection coordination studies.
