NEI was hired as the Consulting Engineer to design a 230kV - 13.2kV distribution substation for United Power.  

The complete design consisted of the utility interconnection and complete protective relaying and electrical design of the substation.

NEI was responsible for producing the complete electrical engineering design documents for the project as well as being involved in permitting and construction administartion.  NEI provided all coordination and short circuit studies and programmed the protective relays.

Also, NEI provided civil engineering services and produces all civil engineering design documents.   NEI provided complete construction admininstration services during construction and comissioned the substaion and provided startup services.
