Tanner is NEI’s Team Lead for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), leading a team of engineers and designers within the Renewable Generation department at NEI, specializing in BESS projects. He is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality completion of electrical engineering scopes assigned to the team, including the successful execution of BESS projects of varying sizes and scopes for various clients.

Tanner also brings extensive experience in LV, MV, & HV design, as well as SCADA/controls, having worked in utilities across traditional and renewable generation, and power delivery industries.
